I love challenging myself with new creative endeavors. This time I wanted to share with my family, friends, and followers some of the lessons I had learned in life, leading up to my 30th birthday in June 2019. Utilizing video and writing, I reflected on various life lessons and events. At 37, I look back on this project with fondness and some slight cringes. However, I see growth and adjustments in beliefs now, and I am fond of the woman I was then and the woman I am now. I shot, created, produced, and posted all content on my former website “Chasing Proverbs”, Instagram, and Facebook. Content was filmed at my residence and released over the course of 30 days.
