The Wretch & The Righteous was born around a dinner table among friends. As Black women living in one of the whitest cities in the U.S., we experienced both the beauty and challenges of that reality and wanted to create a space to explore it openly. Through conversations about love, social justice, pop culture, the African diaspora, and faith, we celebrated the fullness of who we were beyond the color of our skin. As we pursued our dreams, sought to make an impact, and navigated everyday life, we embraced a simple truth: none of us was perfect. In a broken world, the journey toward righteousness was one we all shared.
